Working With a Content Team vs Going Solo: What's Right for You
Every athlete reaches a fork: keep making content alone, or bring in a team. Here's how to decide — and when.
Solo works until it doesn't
Going solo is free and authentic, and it's the right way to start. But there's a ceiling: you can only film, edit, plan, post and analyse so much before your sport — or your content — suffers.
The signs you've hit the ceiling
You're posting less because you're busy competing. Your edits are getting rushed. You have ideas but no time to execute. Your growth has flatlined despite trying. Any two of these means it's time.
What a team actually does
A good content team doesn't take over your voice — it removes the work that isn't your voice. They handle strategy, editing, scheduling and analytics so you do the only part that matters: showing up and being you.
